Po is born 1973 and is based in Sweden. He primarily work in Stockholm but also in Jämtland and with projects around the country, As an artist he works narratively with images and text. As a curator, project manager and consultant he focuses on democracy in the art field, that is, wha are represented and who can participate in this part of our society. As examples of that, he has recently been responsibly of the projects Fakulteten, Kännbart and he is the art consultant in Botkyrka. He has been a member of several boards, such as Konstfrämjandet, KC Öst, WIP:sthlm, Professor Apa and Brogård.
STATEMENT – As an artist I usually work primarily with human orientation: How we position ourselves as individuals and as a species. This includes questions about our history and future, as well as perception, normativity and how we construct our societies and (public) spaces. Alas, these last years, I dig where I stand, more and more; Sápmi background, lost family, position in life. We play the cards that we are dealt. For me; never more, than now.
