Brittish hip hop artist Loyle Carner said in an interview that out of fear from passing on bad family relationships from previous generations, he decided to send his love for his own children up, to the generations that came before. This is my attempt.
My grandmother was sápmi, or as she expressed it "en stolt lapp". My dad, on the other hand, did not approve of the sápmi culture. I myself has discovered this culture only now as a grown up, and I wonder what to tell my children? To paint this was sort of a ceremony for us, or a psychological programming, any way you chose to view it.
