As I’m a slow worker when it comes to my own art, I’ve decided to show some of the work in progress here.
What the hell am I doing? If you have a studio, you know that its not so obvious all the time…
Yet, here are some of the leads that I follow in my studio at WIP:sthlm.
Sagoland
I am working together with Mari Kretz on a pice for Satumaa*kustantamo (the sound art label by Marja-Leena Sillanpää).
Mari is working on the sound, I work on the text and we have an idea for the concept. Release May 2017.

In 2015 I started a project in the village where I grew up; Lit, in Jämtland. It is all about the stories that doesn’t fit into our conventional story telling.
The project has had it’s ups and downs and I am now building up it’s next phase.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve made a note of all the books I’ve read. In 2007 I exhibited them all chronological (se HERE) and I realized that together they all looked like one long book. So I started writing it.
I am working on one book, based on all the books I have read. I select one sentence from each, in chronological order. Find out how it goes HERE

Collision Frequency Increased
For more than 20 years I’ve been collecting news about animals. Not because of their ”cuteness”, but because we have used animals (living, extinct and imagined) for 200 000 years. We have used them not only literal but also constantly in our effort to try to understand ourselves as a species. See more HERE
